HAPPY MONSOON !!!
The first monsoon showers brings  sparkling glow by beating the scorching heat . But, will these droplets help our skin glow? NO, they are not skin friendly. During monsoon the dust particles and dirt settles on our skin and creates multiple skin issues like acne, blackheads, pimples etc. 
Lets choose the right foods to pamper and protect our skin?
Let’s take a look at these skin friendly items:
 
1) Yoghurt – Yoghurt is a good source of protein. It helps in maintaining the moisture in skin. Proteins are known for its anti – ageing properties, hence yoghurt with or yoghurt with muesli can be a perfect snack for monsoon.
 
2) Lemon honey Water – Lemon (Vitamin – C booster ) is an age old remedy for skin problems! It helps in formation of collagen (in skin) making it look brighter and healthy. Having lemon honey water in monsoon can help in maintaining glow on the skin and also helps as body cleanser(LUKE WARM HELPS IN WEIGHT LOSS TOO )
 
3) Tomatoes- Tomatoes are rich in Lycopene. Being an antioxidant, lycopene helps in protecting skin from free radicals.
 
4) Green tea – sipping a nice of green tea in monsoon is very refreshing and relaxing . It releases stress from the body and also helps in preventing skin irritation and Psoriasis and rashes. 
 
5) Dates-  A easy options to make sure the skin doesn’t turn pale.
 
6)  Assorted fruits – litchi, cherries, pomegranate, plums etc are readily available in monsoon. They are good source of carotenoids and help in hydration of our skin.
